I would try updating the GPU drivers and see if that helps. I have an Nvidia 1060 6Gb card and that runs at 100% with the CPU i7 3820 at 40-50% (from memory). My GPU runs at 20% to 25% in bursts of about 5 seconds on and 5 seconds at 0% while the CPU is at 100%. Have you checked that the GPU is at 100% in system monitor? I have uprated my graphics card to a Radeon RX590 with 8GB of memory hoping for an improvement in time but curiously running stabilize through the CPU is much quicker where I can complete a pass in about 2min 30sec.
Hello Bill - My file sizes range anywhere from 125mb to 138mb generally. I am retty sure that there are ways to speed up the program. Maybe even the security programs of your computer slow down the process - but it is a matter of taste to exclude the Topaz program from supervision by these programs. Don't know if Topaz AI has something like that. Sometimes there are options to tweak the settings of the graphics card within the program. But you had to turn on the cuda cores for that application.ĭo you set the priority for the processing of the application from defalut to high in the task manager? You have to do it each time you start your computer or write a batch program that does the job for you.

With Topaz Sharpen AI what you need to invest in is good video library or something else to keep you busy while S L O W app curns.
